Dr. Ted Cruse
Secondary Math and Secondary Worldview
My educational resume includes: BS in Physical Education, University of Florida; MEd in Secondary Education, Arizona State University; MA in Christian Education, Dallas Theological Seminary; EdD in Educational Administration.
My educational experience includes: physical education teacher (preschool through twelfth grade); Bible teacher (seventh grade through twelfth grade); secondary school math teacher, coach (boys and girls basketball and volleyball); classroom teacher (third grade); daycare director; youth pastor; elementary, middle school, and high school administrator; and superintendent.
I also served on several ACSI accreditation teams. Additionally, I was involved in curriculum development for Christian schools, churches, and family devotionals. My administrative experience includes schools in Arizona, North Carolina, Illinois, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
In 2012, we moved to New England from Phoenix, Arizona, to be with our son (John) and our daughter-in-law (Karine) who were starting a family. Our daughter (Tammy) moved with us along with our grandchildren (Jayden and Caitlyn). I have been married to my wife (Pam) for 40 years.
My goal for students is that they become lifelong learners who follow and are committed to the Lord. My teaching emphasizes problem solving, thinking, application, and serving. Character development is woven into all aspects of the curriculum. In our classroom there is hard work, laughter, discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. A Biblical worldview is emphasized daily and integrated into all that we do. Science and historical field trips augment classroom learning.
