Third Grade

Professional Biography
I began my career in education working in a school that serves children with developmental disabilities. In 2009, I graduated from Westfield State with my master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Upon graduation, I provided consultation for a public school district as a behavior analyst. Shortly after, I prayed for the Lord’s direction and was given an opportunity to teach third grade at a small Christian school. After taking some years to stay at home with my own children, I returned to teaching as a kindergarten teacher. While enjoying my position very much, I felt the Lord’s leading me to take a step of faith and joined CCS in 2024 when a third-grade teacher position became available. I feel very blessed to be a part of this school and community. I am always amazed at the way that the Lord directs my path. He has always shown His faithfulness to me and has blessed me with opportunities that are the best fit for my
family.

Personal Biography
I have two wonderful children, Marshall and Sydney, who attend CCS. Marshall enjoys playing football and baseball for our town of Ludlow. Sydney takes ballet and acro classes at our local studio. Dave, my husband, and I have been happily married for about twenty years! Dave is employed by our town as a police officer. My husband and I are saved by grace and strive to provide a home centered around the Lord. In my downtime, I enjoy reading, documenting our life in photo albums, and traveling with my family.

Teaching Philosophy
I consider it a privilege to teach in a Christian school. I love incorporating biblical principles throughout the curriculum. I enjoy witnessing students’ achievements and helping them strive for success. I believe that active participation is one of the highest indicators of success and try to encourage learning through student engagement. My goal in the classroom is to create an environment where students enjoy learning and attending school. I believe that students who enjoy their educational experiences will become lifelong learners.
