Professional Biography
From a young age, I had a passion for Christian education and sharing Christ.  My passion began and my life changed in fifth grade when I attended Baptist Village Christian Academy.  I had a teacher share her life story and her commitment to Christ.  This is when I knew that I wanted to teach and inspire my students to have a passion for Christ.  After high school, I attended Westfield State University, where I graduated magna cum laude in 2012 with a BA in History and Secondary Education, with certifications in the fifth through eighth grades and the ninth through twelfth grades.  I began teaching at Community Christian School in 2011. I have also privately tutored for over ten years and worked as a swim instructor for nine years.

Personal Biography
I married my wonderful husband, Christian, in 2013.  We have three children--two boys, Carsten and Malachi, and a little girl, Elizabeth.  I have been a member of First Baptist Church in East Longmeadow for the past sixteen years.  I have been involved in the nursery ministry for the past ten years.

Educational Philosophy
I love that I get to share my faith with my students.  I am so blessed to have a job at a Christian school where I can speak truth into my students’ lives.  I do my best to get to know each student personally so I that can effectively meet his or her individual needs in the classroom.
