Educational Philosophy
I love music and I believe that, first and foremost, music is a form of worship, regardless of the style. This is what I try to instill in my students. From day one, I share many verses from the book of Psalms that speak of praising God on many different types of instruments as well as through song. Through the curriculum, I teach this principle and try to instill a love of many genres of music, as well as teaching each student the principals of the language of music.

Favorite Verse:
Psalm 33:2-4: "Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth."
